ALUMNI ANNOUNCEMENTS
Veterinary Medical Alumni Society Board Members Installed at Penn Annual Conference
VMAS Board officers and members-at-large were elected by the general alumni membership on March 12, 2009 at the Penn Annual Conference. Congratulations! We look forward to a vibrant board to help promote the interests of the veterinary school and the alumni society, to encourage and perpetuate the spirit of good feeling and commonality of interests among matriculating graduates and other professionals who have furthered their learning experience at Penn Vet (residents, interns, post-doctoral candidates and fellows), and to assist the school to advance veterinary education, students, and administration. See the link for a full list of board members.
Thanks for your support, Penn Vet Alumni
We would like to thank all alumni for their generosity this fiscal year. In spite of the rocky economy, alumni giving to the School of Veterinary Medicine has continued to increase throughout the year. In fact, as of March 31st, our donor count increased by 68% compared to March 31st, 2008 and gift receipts were up 11% . Our annual phonathon ended on April 14th with 66% of pledges already paid. This is a promising sign that, in our time of tremendous need, our Alumni are ready to help. We are hopeful that this giving trend will continue right up until our fiscal year ends on June 30th! Thank you so much for your continued support!! www.vet.upenn.edu/giving
