The Vernon and Shirley Hill Pavilion optimizes the convergence of library information with technology.
Students have greater mobility and flexibility as they can access the network (via wireless network access points) from anywhere in the library. The Robert E. Fairchild Electronic Communications Classroom offers computing and media equipment for digital image and video production.
The Hill Pavilion includes the very latest technologies, allowing unparalleled interaction between students and faculty. From state-of-the-art lecture halls and seminar rooms to wireless networking on the first and second floors to an "information commons" convergence with library technologies, the building hosts a variety of innovative technologies.
Faculty teach in large lecture halls with an integrated communications, media, and Internet-based networked environment for digital collaboration and interactive presentations. Students and faculty can speak to colleagues at other locations in seminar rooms that have video-conference capability or present Grand Rounds in conference rooms with their presentations archived through video and/or audio streaming over the Web. >>More
