Costs for the individual care of your animal are usually comparable to those of veterinarians in similar practices. The medical needs of your animal will vary widely according to their problems. Please discuss the estimated cost of your animal’s medical treatment with the veterinarian in charge of the case when your animal is admitted. |
You should be aware, however, that it is not possible for our veterinarians to determine the exact cost of diagnosing and treating your animal’s problem. No two animals’ problems or responses are identical. The numbers and kinds of tests and treatments required can seldom be precisely predicted at the time of admission. Our Veterinarians will do their best, upon admission, to give you an estimate of the cost of the care for your animal.
The owner of record is responsible for payment of the entire invoiced amount regardless of the existence of veterinary health insurance or joint owners. Billing accommodations for these situations may be arranged by calling the hospital Business Office a 610.925.6440 or 6400.
Invoices will be mailed to the owner of record upon discharge. Payment in full is expected within in 28 days of the initial billing date. Balances owed beyond that time will be assessed a late charge of 1.5% per month, compounded monthly. All major credit cards are accepted.
For hospitalized patients owners will be contacted, by phone, at routine intervals apprising them of the status of currently accrued chargers. You should be aware, however, these accumulated charges are those actually posted to the billing system and may not reflect charges for services then in process.
