Medical Records
The Medical Records Department of the Widener Hospital is staffed Monday through Friday 8 AM until 4 PM.
All medical records are confidential and the property of the University of Pennsylvania. Owners and referring veterinarians may obtain a copy of their animal’s medical record by calling the department (610-925-6108) during normal business hours.
Others may obtain a copy of an animal’s medical record only with the written permission of the owner. In all cases a records processing fee may be charged. Please call the medical records office for further details.
Please note, in those circumstances where the ownership of an animal has changed, owners may only request copies of the portions of the medical record that pertains to their animal.
